The middle school years can be some of the toughest, and that is why I am very passionate about my responsibility of leading our students into the future. My experience has taught me that strong relationships are an integral part of anyone's success. Being “stuck in the middle”, I often do not get to experience the end result for our students and the following quote frames my mindset for the work that happens here at Elmore Park: "Focus on who students are becoming, not just who they are right now." As a school, our commitment for 2019-2020 is to make it the most productive year possible. Your children will be immersed in reading, writing, vocabulary, and technology in all of their classes. These areas will ultimately lead to better communication skills that are necessary for later success in life. Additionally, I hope students will learn to utilize their improved communication skills to become avid problem solvers and leaders in their own way. Your participation as parents is essential in this arduous process. As stated in the flyer, these supplies are a starting point and individual teachers will be requiring more specific items for the students' assigned courses.
